Hi, I’m Glenn Saunders

Founder of Swan Saunders Ltd with more than 20 years’ experience in accountancy, finance and business management.

I’m also a business owner myself, so I understand many of the challenges our clients face first-hand.

Alongside running Swan Saunders, I run a business coaching and mentoring company and a property letting company. This gives me experience of running businesses from different perspectives, managing finances and cash flow, making decisions, planning ahead, dealing with property and, of course, navigating the occasional challenges that come with being a business owner!

That experience has shaped the way I work with my clients. I believe accountancy should be friendly, approachable and easy to understand. There’s no unnecessary jargon and no such thing as a silly question. I want clients to feel comfortable picking up the phone or dropping me a message when they need advice or simply want to talk something through.

I’m passionate about helping business owners understand their numbers, make confident decisions and build businesses that work for them.

Swan Saunders was born in 2023 after I stepped away from a previous successful practice. I’d spent years supporting small and medium-sized businesses and kept coming back to the same feeling: business owners deserve more than an accountant who just files things. They deserve someone who listens, explains, challenges, and actually cares. Someone who’ll pick up the phone when things feel overwhelming or celebrate the wins when everything finally clicks.

So I built the kind of practice I would want if I were in your shoes: approachable, proactive, and centred around people, not paperwork.

I love taking the confusion out of numbers. Whether it’s bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year-end accounts, business planning, or helping you understand your cashflow, I’m here to make things clearer and easier. My favourite part of the job is the conversations, the real chats about your plans, worries, ideas, and ambitions. Because when you understand your numbers, you feel in control, and that changes everything.

Behind the scenes, Swan Saunders has grown into a brilliant hybrid team spread across Norfolk, Suffolk, and beyond, but we’ve kept one promise: you will always feel valued. No corporate vibe. No stuffiness. Just good people who want to help.

When I’m not supporting clients or running planning sessions, you’ll probably find me at a local networking group, chatting over a soya latte, walking the dog, or brainstorming new ways to support our clients better. I’m a firm believer that business should feel like a partnership, not a solo journey, and I’m proud to stand alongside the amazing business owners we work with.
